Job Description

Korzen Health is seeking a full-time Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in the Seaford, DE market area , in collaboration with Healogics and TidalHealth Nanticoke . This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys a hands-on, procedure-driven practice and wants to specialize in wound care while maintaining a strong work-life balance. This role offers a 4-day workweek in a structured outpatient environment focused exclusively on advanced wound management. Responsibilities include:
Performing advanced wound care procedures, including: Sharp and surgical debridement Incision & drainage (I&D) Suturing and minor procedures Advanced wound treatment techniques Managing complex acute and chronic wounds, primarily in an adult and geriatric population Developing individualized treatment plans focused on healing and patient outcomes Collaborating with a multidisciplinary wound care team Full Clinical Support Team You will have a dedicated team supporting your success, including: Case Manager Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses Office Manager Front and back office support staff Training & Professional Growth Comprehensive Wound Care training provided Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) training available Paid onboarding and mentorship Opportunity to develop expertise in a growing specialty Leadership opportunities available ✅ Experience Requirements MD or DO degree Board Certified / Board Eligible Active and unrestricted medical license Current DEA license Strong procedural background required , including experience with: Suturing Incision & drainage (I&D) Debridement Other hands-on procedures Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds including: Urgent Care Wound Care Emergency Medicine Surgery Specialty medical practices with procedural focus Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + bonus opportunities Full healthcare benefits 401(k) and retirement plan PTO, sick days, and CME allowance If you are a physician who enjoys procedures and wants a predictable 4-day outpatient schedule without call responsibilities, this is an opportunity to join an established wound care program with the training, resources, and support needed to succeed.
