Job Description
Family Care Physicians Group is an established and growing primary care practice in Davenport, Florida seeking an ambitious, patient-focused Family Medicine or Primary Care/Internal Medicine physician (MD/DO) who is interested in becoming an active part of the long-term growth of the practice. This is not a start-from-zero opportunity. We have an established patient panel, existing patients, clinic infrastructure, support staff, and multiple payer relationships already in place. Our goal is to find a physician who wants to work with our team to actively re-engage our existing patient population, strengthen continuity of care, develop referral relationships, grow their schedule, and help expand the practice. The position will initially be part-time, approximately 2 days per week, with the opportunity and goal of transitioning to full-time as patient volume and the physician's panel grow.
The timeline for expanding this position may move quickly depending on patient volume and the physician's involvement in building and maintaining their schedule. We are looking for someone who sees an opportunity beyond simply working scheduled shifts. The ideal physician brings initiative, ideas, leadership, and an interest in practice development while providing excellent patient care. In addition to the guaranteed daily rate, the physician will have the opportunity to earn a monthly productivity bonus based on measurable practice growth and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants the autonomy and influence of helping grow a medical practice without having to build one from scratch.
