POSITION OVERVIEW

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Swing Shift Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join our growing Hospital Medicine team at AdventHealth DeLand. This full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offers a predictable 7-on / 7-off schedule from 4:00 PM-4:00 AM, providing evening and overnight coverage within a collaborative Hospital Medicine program focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and high-quality inpatient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide admissions and cross-coverage for the Hospital Medicine service during evening and overnight hours
• Manage patients across general medical floors and ICU with appropriate support
• Evaluate and manage acute changes in hospitalized patients
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered inpatient care
• Support continuity of care through effective communication and handoff
