Job Description:
Location:
Winter Haven, FL (1hr from Tampa)Cross Sectional Radiologist - Body / MSKFellowship-trained cross-sectional radiologist in an outpatient settingShould have expertise in interpreting X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, PET CT, and Ultrasound images, etc..Focus on musculoskeletal and body imaging, and potentially interventional radiology procedures a plus
Schedule:
8am - 5pm - Monday through Friday.
ZERO CALL OR
WEEKENDSInterpret and report on a wide range of cross-sectional imaging studies, including X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, PET CT, and ultrasound.
Volume:
Typically about 50 reads per dayProvide expert consultations to referring physicians regarding imaging findings and treatment options. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions. Contributes to the development and refinement of imaging protocols. Potentially perform or assist with interventional radiology procedures, such as image-guided biopsies and injections (not required) Maintain accurate and timely records of patient imaging studies and reports. Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and imaging services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Stay current with advancements in cross-sectional imaging techniques and technologies.
Background Profile:
Ability to have a Florida State Medical LicenseBoard-certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Fellowship training in cross-sectional imaging, with a focus on musculoskeletal and body imaging. Experience in interventional radiology procedures (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Current MQSA certification.
