Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to diagnose allergy, immunology, and respiratory conditions using advanced clinical assessment techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating allergy testing, immunotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties such as pulmonology, dermatology, rheumatology, and pediatrics to ensure holistic patient care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Perform procedures including skin testing, allergy injections, and other diagnostic interventions following best practices. Educate patients on managing their conditions through health coaching and tailored self-care strategies. Stay current with emerging research and participate in clinical trials to enhance treatment options and improve patient outcomes. Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with active licensure as an MD or DO. Completion of a residency in internal medicine or pediatrics followed by specialized fellowship training in allergy and immunology. Post-residency experience demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing and treating allergy-related conditions. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of immunology, respiratory therapy, dermatology, and related medical disciplines. Experience performing allergy testing procedures including skin prick tests and intradermal testing. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement.
