We are seeking a dedicated Pathologist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, commencing Dec 21, 2026. This role focuses on the accurate interpretation of GI biopsy slides, with daily shifts running from 9am until all work is complete. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a high volume of cases, ensuring timely and precise diagnostic reporting. Responsibilities and Duties Perform accurate interpretation of GI biopsy slides Complete a daily caseload of 60 cases Process 100-180 slides per day Specialize exclusively in GI biopsies, without grossing requirements Additional Information Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology The role is exclusively focused on GI biopsies, with no grossing required Expected to complete 60 cases daily Daily slide volume typically ranges from 100 to 180 Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
