Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive women's health services, including prenatal care, childbirth, family planning, and gynecological treatments. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality of patient care, promote health education, and support women throughout all stages of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on women's health in a collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including physical examinations and medical history assessments for women of all ages. Manage pregnancy care from conception through postpartum, including labor and delivery supervision. Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions utilizing advanced medical imaging and diagnostic radiology techniques. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties such as maternal-fetal medicine, endocrinology, oncology, cardiology, and radiology to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Perform minimally invasive procedures such as suturing, biopsies, and other surgical interventions related to obstetrics and gynecology. Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning options, menopause management, and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR/EHR systems like Epic while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Post-residency experience demonstrating proficiency in inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecological care. Strong knowledge of healthcare diagnosis, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to women's health. Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management. Ability to perform clinical procedures including suturing, ultrasound interpretation, and basic life support (BLS). Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and education. Familiarity with diagnostic radiology techniques, medical imaging modalities, and perioperative care practices is preferred.
