MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology or significant experience in congenital cardiac anesthesiology Valid, unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility Demonstrated leadership experience in a pediatric, congenital, cardiovascular, or academic anesthesiology program Nicklaus Children's Hospital Heart Institute is seeking a Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology to lead cardiac anesthesiology services within one of the nation's premier pediatric and congenital heart programs. This is an opportunity for an accomplished cardiac anesthesiologist to help shape innovative, multidisciplinary cardiovascular care for children, fetuses, and adults with congenital heart disease. The Division Chief will provide strategic, operational, academic, and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Anesthesiology Division. This leader will partner closely with anesthesiology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, surgery administration and Heart Institute leadership to advance quality, workforce development, program growth, and exceptional patient outcomes.
