Position Overview

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking an experienced Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon who is specialized in hand surgery or sports medicine to join our nationally recognized orthopedic surgery team. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice at one of the nation's top-ranked pediatric orthopedic programs in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated exclusively to children's healthcare.

Join a collaborative team of pediatric subspecialty physicians providing comprehensive orthopedic care to children, teenagers, and young adults across Central Florida. You will have access to advanced surgical facilities, cutting-edge technology, and a Magnet-recognized nursing team dedicated to excellence in pediatric patient care. Our program offers the full spectrum of pediatric orthopedic services, from routine procedures to complex reconstructive surgery and trauma care.

Qualifications Required:

M.D. or D.O. degree

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Hand or Sports Medicine Fellowship

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

Unrestricted Florida Medical License (or ability to obtain one)

The Bert Martin's Champions for Children Emergency Department and Trauma Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer is the first and only ER in Central Florida to provide Level I trauma care exclusively to children. The program has achieved Level I Children's Surgical Verification and Level I Trauma Verification from the American College of Surgeons; the only facility in Florida to achieve this level of excellence.
