Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychiatric care, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans to support patients across diverse populations. Your expertise will help improve mental health outcomes and enhance quality of life for individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Duties Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions accurately Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing psychotherapy, medication management, and other evidence-based interventions Provide psychiatric care for a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health issues Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment delivery Manage inpatient and outpatient caseloads, including crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric services Document all clinical encounters thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Stay current with healthcare diagnosis standards, medical terminology, and health regulation policies to ensure best practices Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the applicable jurisdiction Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations in clinical settings Demonstrated proficiency in psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis procedures, medical documentation standards, and medical records management Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or post-residency experience in clinical psychiatry is preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and data security Strong crisis management skills for handling psychiatric emergencies effectively Telehealth experience is desirable to support remote patient consultations Understanding of drug enforcement regulations (DEA) requirements for prescribing controlled substances Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient-centered care standards Join us as we empower individuals through compassionate mental health services!
