Emergency Medicine Job Details:

Emergency Medicine physician needed to cover both freestanding emergency department (FSED) and main hospital emergency department locations Must be BCEM boarded or have previous HCA experience Board certification through IM, FP, or ABEM required; if not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience 12-hour shifts available for both AM and PM coverage FSED features 12 bays with single provider coverage and low to mid acuity patient mix Main emergency department features 80 bays with multi-provider coverage and mid to high acuity patient mix Patient volume of approximately 2 to 2.5 patients per hour at peak volumes FSED admission rate is 8-10% and approximately 30% at the main emergency department No trauma center designation Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies 5 positions available
