Job Description

Join our team as a locum Emergency Medicine Physician in Sanford, FL, providing flexible, high-quality care across emergency department settings. You will evaluate and manage patients with acute medical and traumatic conditions, perform focused histories and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, initiate and coordinate treatment plans, and perform procedures as indicated, including laceration repair and other minor surgical interventions. You will document care clearly, coordinate with consultants and ancillary staff, and ensure safe patient disposition.
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) Active Florida medical license Current ACLS and PALS certifications Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment
