Facility:
This high-acuity Level II trauma facility provides a comprehensive range of imaging and interventional radiology services to the surrounding community. The facility features an active IR service and supports a broad scope of advanced imaging capabilities, including CT trauma protocols, stroke pathways, vascular studies, and MRI, all within a well-equipped and fast-paced clinical environment.
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist -
Radiology Job Details:
  • Onsite Interventional Radiology position at a Level II trauma center, 7 days per week, 8am-5pm EST
  • IR call coverage required Monday through Sunday
  • Holiday coverage required when available
  • Board Certified physicians only
  • High CT trauma imaging volume including spine and vascular CT studies
  • Frequent stroke pathway imaging including CT Head Stroke, CTA Head/Neck, and CT Perfusion
  • High MSK trauma workload with extensive extremity radiography
  • Regular vascular and abdominal ultrasound including carotid and DVT studies
  • Active IR service supporting biopsies, drainage procedures, dialysis access, and line placement
  • Interventional Radiology procedures include biopsies (bone, lung, lymph node), drainage procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and dialysis access work
  • Minimum productivity expectation of 45 RVUs per shift
  • RPCE Tech Stack and PowerScribe 4.0 utilized on site
  • MRI support for neuro and spine evaluation
  • OB and routine abdominal ultrasound imaging included in scope
