Locums About the Facility This 221-bed acute care facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center, providing inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology services to a broad patient population. The facility supports a high CT trauma imaging volume and maintains an active IR service across a broad range of procedural responsibilities. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate on-site day shift coverage combined with call responsibilities. About the Facility Location The area offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore water-based activities, scenic waterfront areas, and natural parks that provide opportunities for wildlife encounters, bike tours, and outdoor recreation throughout the year. The surrounding area also features a downtown district with local shops, dining options, and craft breweries, as well as botanical gardens and wilderness areas for those who prefer natural settings. About the Clinician's Workday The interventional/diagnostic radiologist will provide on-site coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings during day shifts with required call responsibilities. Clinical duties include interpreting high-volume CT trauma imaging (spine and vascular CT studies), stroke pathway imaging (CT Head Stroke, CTA Head/Neck, CT Perfusion), MSK trauma workload with extremity radiography, and vascular and abdominal ultrasound including carotid and DVT studies. The active IR service encompasses biopsies (bone, lung, lymph node), drainage procedures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and dialysis access work.
