Job Description
Interventional Cardiologist Heart & Vascular Care | Acworth & Cartersville, Georgia Position Overview Heart & Vascular Care is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the North Atlanta region. Based primarily out of our highly desirable Acworth location alongside Cartersville, this role encompasses a robust procedural volume including bread-and-butter PCI, complex coronary interventions, and peripheral vascular disease management, supported by comprehensive outpatient clinic hours and affiliated hospital care. Key procedural responsibilities and clinical services include: Standard "bread-and-butter" and complex Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Advanced complex coronary interventions (calcified lesions, CTOs, bifurcations, atherectomy) Endovascular peripheral vascular interventions (lower extremity arterial, vein interventions, atherectomy, angioplasty, stenting) Diagnostic cardiac catheterization and invasive hemodynamic evaluations Intravascular imaging and physiology (IVUS, OCT, FFR/iFR) Outpatient consultations and inpatient cardiovascular care The incoming interventionalist will collaborate closely with APPs, medical assistants, scribes, nurses, catheterization lab staff, and administrative team members across all practice settings. Shared call responsibilities are exceptionally light at 1:8, distributed equally among the physician team with robust APP support to ensure predictable work-life balance. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production incentives, call stipend, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and partnership/equity opportunities.
