40 Hours per Week Key Responsibilities As a Gastroenterology Lab Technician, you will be responsible for supporting GI procedures and maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized procedural environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assist physicians and clinical staff with gastrointestinal procedures. Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies prior to procedures. Verify that necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly. Assist with patient preparation and positioning according to established protocols. Provide support during procedures while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Monitor and respond appropriately to the needs of the procedural team. Follow established infection prevention and control practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe GI Lab environment. Properly handle, clean, disinfect, and/or prepare equipment according to applicable protocols. Assist with specimen collection, labeling, handling, and appropriate documentation when required. Accurately document required clinical and procedural information. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow all departmental policies, clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information. Participate in required call coverage. Assist with workflow and departmental needs as assigned. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and strong attention to detail throughout the assignment. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Gastroenterology Lab/GI Lab setting . Current AHA BLS certification required. Prior travel healthcare experience required. Strong knowledge of GI Lab procedures and workflow. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment. Ability to follow established safety, infection-control, and clinical protocols. Must be willing and able to participate in required call coverage. Must meet all onboarding and compliance requirements before the assignment start date.

Pay:

$1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week
