Description:
Georgia Highlands Medical Services, Inc. (GHMS), a well-established Community Health Center located in suburban Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Full-Time Family Practice Physician for its Cartersville Family Health Center in Cumming (Bartow County), Georgia. GHMS offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and a supportive working environment with a well-established and progressive organization. The Physician serves as the Personal Clinician to a panel of assigned patients, and is responsible for providing comprehensive Family Medical Care (Newborns to Geriatrics) in a Patient-Centered Medical Home environment. The Physician also supervises and provides consultative services to mid-level Practitioners and Medical Students, participates in a rotating After-Hours On-Call Schedule, and participates in organizational Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Completion of an Accredited Residency Program. Current Georgia MD/DO License, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Practice. Three years practice experience beyond Residency Training is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply. Previous practice experience in a Community Health Center is a plus.
