Alabama Georgia Mississippi | Potential Florida & Tennessee Coverage Full-Time | Regional Travel | Home Every Weekend We are seeking a full-time Regional Traveling Physician to join our team and provide specialized wound care coverage across multiple locations in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi , with potential coverage extending into North Florida and Tennessee based on operational needs (in collaboration with Healogics). This is a unique opportunity for a physician who truly enjoys wound care , is comfortable managing complex wounds, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing clinical environment. This position is not for everyone. We are looking for a physician who is a wound-care enthusiast, quick thinker, flexible, clinically confident, and comfortable traveling to different facilities and states throughout the week. The ideal candidate will be based within or near the regional territory, with Columbus, GA; Alexander City, AL; Montgomery, AL; and Birmingham, AL representing key recruiting markets. About the Opportunity Our team provides specialized wound care services to patients with chronic and complex wounds in post-acute and outpatient care settings. The physician will travel to assigned locations throughout the region, providing comprehensive wound evaluations and procedural wound care while working alongside an established clinical support team. This is a procedure-oriented position , with a significant focus on wound assessment, treatment planning, and wound-related procedures. Standard work is Monday-Friday, daytime hours. There are no night shifts, weekend hours, or holiday coverage. Overnight travel will be required during the work week, and the physician will be home every weekend. What You'll Do Evaluate and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex wounds Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Perform wound-related procedures, including sharp debridement and other appropriate procedures Monitor wound progression and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated Collaborate closely with nursing teams and other healthcare professionals Provide education and guidance to facility clinical staff Work across multiple facilities and adapt to different clinical environments Provide consistent, high-quality wound care throughout the assigned region Travel between locations during the work week Scope of Practice & Support Dedicated clinical support team Collaborative nursing and facility teams Comprehensive wound assessment and treatment Advanced wound-care modalities and therapies Debridement and procedural wound care Infection management and prevention Compression therapy Wound cleansing and dressing management Other advanced wound-care treatments as clinically appropriate Wound care and additional specialty training provided as needed Opportunity for future clinical leadership and growth The Physician We're Looking For This role requires substantial recent wound-care experience .
