Job Description
Our client in Georgia is actively seeking a skilled Pathologist for a 29-day assignment commencing Oct 19, 2026. This vital hospital-based role involves consistent 8-hour shifts, where you will primarily focus on interpreting cytology and surgical specimens. The assignment specifically excludes autopsies, bone marrow procedures, and grossing, ensuring a focused scope of practice. Responsibilities and Duties Perform duties as a hospital-based Pathologist. Interpret a variety of specimens including cytology and surgical cases. Manage approximately 10 Non-GYN blocks (2-3 cases) and 90 surgical blocks (35-40 cases) per day. Examine AP/CP cases, including cytopathology and surgical specimens.
Note:
Autopsies, bone marrow procedures/interpretation, and grossing are not required for this locum tenens role.Additional Information Required Board Certification:
