The facility operates on an on-site model and seeks locum tenens coverage to maintain continuity of child and adolescent psychiatric services. The center is committed to delivering coordinated mental health care to its patient population. About the Facility Location The island of Maui offers a range of outdoor and water-based activities suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore snorkeling at sites such as Kaanapali Beach and Molokini Crater, hiking within Haleakala National Park and Iao Valley State Monument, and land and air experiences including ziplining, helicopter tours, and golf courses across multiple areas. Day trips to nearby islands, including Lanai, are accessible via a short ferry ride. About the Clinicians Workday The clinician will provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services for a patient population including SMI adults and children ages 5 and older, during day shift hours on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, with 90 minutes allocated for initial evaluations and 30-60 minutes for medication management follow-up appointments. The clinician is expected to see 5-7 patients per day. No call obligations are associated with this position, and Child and Adolescent Fellowship training is required.Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD:
