Type of Cases:

Locums should be comfortable in doing neonatal resuscitation which includes endotracheal intubation, LMA insertion, umbilical catheterizations, IV insertion, lumbar puncture, neonatal circumcision. Managing neonatal and pediatric conditions like sepsis, RDS/respiratory conditions, hypoglycemia, dehydration, GI diseases, etc. Deliveries, problematic/complicated vaginal deliveries, neonatal consultations, rounding while on call. Should always be available for ER consults, ER admissions to Peds, phone consultations from outlying physicians.

Credentialing:

Typically takes 1-2 months. Can be rushed for candidates with clean backgrounds. Minimum Requirements for Consideration Board Certified in
