Locums About the Facility This short-term acute care facility provides inpatient neurological services with the clinical infrastructure necessary to support on-site neurohospitalist coverage. The facility maintains established protocols to ensure quality patient care and timely neurological consultation for the adult inpatient population. All services are delivered on-site throughout the coverage period. About the Facility Location The area west of Cedar Rapids, Iowa offers a range of activities suited to varied interests. The region features community events, outdoor recreation, farmers markets, performing arts, and live music across several nearby communities. Public libraries and local venues throughout the area serve as active community hubs, providing year-round options for clinicians on assignment. About the Clinician's Workday The neurologist will serve in a neurohospitalist capacity, providing on-site inpatient rounding during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and fulfilling 12-hour night call responsibilities. Clinical duties include managing inpatient neurological conditions and conducting consultations for the adult inpatient population. The clinician will be supported by one nurse who rounds Monday through Thursday. Board certification in Neurology and prescriptive authority are required for this position.
