Job Description

CNC Fabrication Specialist - Laser & Press Brake Take your fabrication expertise beyond the shop floor. Are you the person others turn to when there's a question about a fiber laser, programming, nesting, setup, or running a difficult part correctly? Productivity, Inc. is looking for an experienced fabrication professional who wants to use that knowledge in a different way—helping customers solve problems, improve processes, evaluate equipment, and get more from their fabrication technology. $85,000-$105,000/year, based on experience and technical expertise

People With:
Fiber laser expertise — programming, nesting, setup, operation, troubleshooting, and process optimization Press brake expertise — programming, setup, tooling selection, bending processes, and troubleshooting Experience with CAD/CAM, nesting, and fabrication programming software Broader fabrication experience with equipment such as turret punch, plasma, waterjet, or plate roll is a plus Experience as a lead, supervisor, foreman, production planner, or other go-to technical resource is highly valued Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical information to others What You'll Do Help customers solve laser, press brake, programming, nesting, tooling, and processing challenges Program, set up, and demonstrate fabrication equipment Train customers on equipment and applications Work with our sales team on equipment demonstrations and customer solutions Develop time studies, process plans, tooling recommendations, and application solutions Support trade shows and customer events as a fabrication equipment expert If you have 5+ years of strong hands-on fabrication experience, we want to hear from you. A degree is helpful, but it isn't required. We're particularly interested in the person who has become the fabrication expert in their shop— whether your current title is Laser Programmer, Fabrication Lead, Press Brake Programmer, Shop Foreman, Production Planner, Fabrication Supervisor, or something else entirely.
