The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery across day and night shift coverage periods. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts. About the Facility Location The Cedar Rapids area offers a range of activities suited to varied interests, including wellness programs such as Tai Chi, community gatherings, and arts events such as the Cedar Rapids Art Walk and live performances. Clinicians on assignment may explore outdoor spaces including Greene Square, as well as cultural venues, museums, and historic sites throughout the region. Dining options, farmers markets, and recreational opportunities are accessible across the area throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site Level III Trauma Center emergency department in Iowa. Clinicians will manage routine ER presentations and respond to codes while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. APP coverage is available to support clinical operations during the assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position, and board certification is negotiable.
