Job Description
Overview Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, with a focus on preventive medicine, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term health management for patients of all ages. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated physician who is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with patients, promote healthy lifestyles, and contribute to our mission of improving the overall health of the communities we serve. Duties Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages Perform routine physical examinations and annual wellness visits Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and imaging studies Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress Educate patients regarding preventive care, wellness, and disease management Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the EMR system Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals Comply with all federal, state, and hospital regulations and standards Support patient satisfaction and population health initiatives Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Current unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain) in the State of [State] DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Current BLS certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Preferred 1+ years of Family Medicine experience (new graduates encouraged to apply) Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Interest in population health, wellness, and preventive medicine Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Join Mountain View Hospital and build a rewarding career where your expertise makes a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families every day.
