Hospitalist Job in Aledo, Illinois
Job Description
Provide clinical leadership and attend to patients at local skilled nursing facilities in Aledo, IL. This part-time role partners with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care and oversight across assigned post-acute and long-term care sites. Key responsibilities Serve as attending physician for residents in skilled nursing facilities. Collaborate with NPs/PAs on care plans, admissions, discharges, and transitions. Perform daily visits, medical assessments, and treatment planning for 18-25 patients per day. Provide clinical oversight, documentation, and coordination with facility staff and families. Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives as needed. Schedule and work model Part-time; physicians typically cover each facility 1-2 days per week. No fixed start/end times, no call, and no overnight shifts. Flexible schedule to support work-life balance. Company-provided iPad with LTE for documentation.
