Job Description

Position Requirements Description Anesthesiologist opportunity near lively Chicago with OSF Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, IL. A nonprofit Catholic community hospital with 298 Medicare-certified beds, OSF Health Care Little Company of Mary Hospital offers advanced inpatient, surgical, and outpatient facilities with new equipment and operating rooms. The facility is part of the OSF Health Care system. This integrated healthcare network is operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis based in Peoria, IL. Location is equipped with new operating rooms and equipment. The collegial atmosphere is highly valued at OSF Health Care Little Company of Mary Hospital.

Schedule:
Various shifts available 24-hour home call with post-call day off.
  • General, ortho, vascular, and more Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Current medical licensure
