The Medical Imaging Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate, reliable, and high-quality imaging services while overseeing financial, capital, and human resources within assigned areas.
This role leads department operations, establishes quality and productivity standards, supports team performance, and ensures compliance with patient care and confidential health information requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations within assigned Medical Imaging servicesManage financial, capital, and human resourcesEstablish and monitor department quality and productivity standardsIdentify performance or operational concerns and implement corrective actionsDevelop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with organizational and third-party regulatory requirementsSupport high-quality and reliable imaging servicesLead, develop, and support Medical Imaging team membersMonitor department workflow and identify opportunities for improvementCollaborate with clinical and organizational leadershipEnsure appropriate handling of confidential patient informationPromote a patient-centered and high-performance department cultureRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience in an imaging modality within a medical center-based imaging departmentRelevant backgrounds may include CT, MRI, Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, or other Medical Imaging modalitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with solid computer skills, including Microsoft softwarePreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Allied Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experiencePrevious Medical Imaging or Radiology leadership experienceExperience managing department quality, productivity, staffing, or operational performance
