This surgical service supports 15 operating rooms, including a dedicated trauma room and five operating rooms with robotic capabilities. Surgical Technologists gain exposure to a wide variety of complex procedures while working with advanced surgical technology in a fast-paced operating room environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Technologist looking to expand their surgical experience across multiple specialties while supporting complex and high-acuity cases.

Surgical SpecialtiesThe surgical team supports a broad range of procedures, including: General SurgeryComplex Adult ENTPlastic Surgery and Breast ReconstructionGynecologic SurgeryUrologyThoracic SurgeryPodiatryKidney and Pancreas TransplantsBariatric SurgeryOrgan Donation CasesTrauma SurgeryRobotic SurgeryKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for proceduresAssist surgeons and the perioperative team throughout surgical casesAnticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical teamSupport general, multispecialty, trauma, and robotic proceduresMaintain sterile technique and infection prevention standardsEnsure surgical equipment and instrumentation are functioning properlyRecognize significant patient conditions or reactions and communicate concerns to the appropriate care teamMaintain a safe and efficient operating room environmentParticipate in weekend, holiday, and call rotationsFollow established surgical quality and patient safety standardsQualificationsSurgical Technologist IHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Surgical Technology program with eligibility to sit for certification ORMinimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist/Technician experience if a Surgical Technology program has not been completedCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification requiredSurgical Technologist IIHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Surgical Technology program and Surgical Technologist certification with at least 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience ORMinimum of 5 years of Surgical Technologist experience without certificationCurrent American Heart Association BLS certification requiredPreferred QualificationsSurgical Technology certificationGeneral surgery, multispecialty, trauma, or robotic surgery experienceStrong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniqueExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
Compensation & IncentivesPay Range:
$27.26-$38.48 per hourSurgical Technologist II positions include a 3% range adjustment.
Weekend Differential:
$2.50 per hour
On-Call Pay:
$3.00 per hour
Called-In Pay:
Time-and-a-half of base rate
Sign-On Bonus:
$15,000
