What you'll do: The Child Life and Family Specialist supports the emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs of pediatric patients and their families throughout the healthcare experience. This role assesses patient and family needs, provides therapeutic play and developmental activities, and prepares children for medical procedures using age-appropriate interventions. Working collaboratively with the healthcare team, the Specialist promotes positive coping, family-centered care, and an optimal patient experience while serving as a resource for patients, families, staff, and community partners.
