Locum tenens coverage is sought on an ongoing basis beginning as soon as the selected clinician is credentialed. Points of interest include the Riverwalk, Centennial Beach, and the Naper Settlement, alongside golf, dining, and shopping in the downtown district. Additional options include nature parks, biking and hiking trails, the DuPage Children's Museum, art galleries, antique shops, and wellness facilities throughout the area. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on patients presenting with various psychiatric conditions, managing a daily census of approximately 8 - 12 patients, and delivering medication management and treatment planning within the inpatient setting. The caseload includes both voluntary and involuntary admissions, with court hearings conducted virtually or on-site; average length of stay ranges from approximately 5.5 to 11 days. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
