Description Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in DeKalb, IL and Sandwich, IL, located in the far western suburbs of Chicago. DeKalb, Illinois, is a vibrant city of roughly 40,000 residents located 60 miles west of Chicago, best known as the home of Northern Illinois University. It balances a mix of urban and suburban atmospheres with strong agricultural roots, offering affordable housing, diverse culture, and numerous recreational. Sandwich, IL offers a "small-town" feel with a mix of rural charm and suburban convenience southwest of Chicago. The Emergency Medicine Physician will have the opportunity to practice clinically in an innovative community hospital with advanced resources and technology as part of Northwestern Medicine's integrated academic health system. In conjunction with clinical practice responsibilities, the physician will be responsible for providing supervision and instruction to all advanced practice providers.
