This is a new position created through practice expansion and offers the flexibility to choose a full-time or part-time schedule. The role is ideal for a physician who enjoys treating a varied pediatric case mix, working in a fast-paced outpatient setting, and building strong relationships with children and their families. Patient Volume Approximately 2-4 patients per hour Case Mix The incoming physician will evaluate and treat a broad range of pediatric conditions, including: Everyday childhood illnesses Orthopedic injuries Pneumonia Asthma Urinary tract infections Dehydration Colic Gastroenteritis Cellulitis Abscesses Minor cuts and lacerations Laceration repair Immunizations Physical examinations IV management when clinically appropriate Schedule The practice is open 12 hours per day, 365 days per year . Scheduling is flexible and may include: 6-hour shifts 8-hour shifts 12-hour shifts Evening coverage Weekend coverage as needed to meet patient-care requirements Both full-time and part-time physicians are encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary:
$156,000

Approximately $228,000 Health insurance Dental insurance Access to a 401(k) savings program Qualifications Candidates must have: MD or DO degree More than 2 years of pediatric experience and/or training Board Certified or Board Eligible status through one of the following: American Board of Pediatrics American Board of Family Medicine American Board of Internal Medicine American Board of Emergency Medicine Current Illinois medical license Current DEA registration Illinois controlled-substance license Current CPR certification Current PALS certification Proficiency with electronic medical records Athena EMR experience is preferred.
