Duties & Responsibilities Provide general surgery call coverage for inpatient cases during weekends (Thursday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM). Respond to emergency surgical consultations and perform necessary procedures. Manage trauma and acute surgical patients, including chest tube and central line insertions. Coordinate with hospitalist team for admissions and rounding on surgical patients. Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation in Epic EMR.
