Interventional Pulmonologist Munster, IN | $450,000 to $550,000 Per Year This established, highly regarded healthcare system in the Greater Chicagoland area, located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Pulmonologist to join its growing, physician led group practice. The organization operates in a HIMSS Stage VII environment with full
EPIC EHR
integration and modern AI functionality, and offers a collegial physician team providing mentorship and support to build a practice tailored to individual subspecialty interests. Schedule Full time, permanent, inpatient and outpatient. Monday to Friday flexible schedule, clinic 2 days per week alongside dedicated inpatient procedural days, and a call rotation of 1 to 4 to 1 to 6. Compensation $450,000 to $550,000 per year, based on experience and aligned with current MGMA benchmarks, plus a performance bonus structure and a negotiable sign on bonus. What You'll Do The Interventional Pulmonologist provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient interventional pulmonology care, advanced diagnostic procedures, and consultative care. This person maintains a balanced schedule operating in clinic 2 days per week alongside dedicated inpatient procedural days, and participates in a manageable call rotation of 1 to 4 to 1 to 6. with AI driven documentation enhancements, collaborating with a multidisciplinary network of specialists, primary care providers, and hospital leaders, and helping shape subspecialty clinical protocols while delivering patient centered care. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO) Fellowship trained in Interventional Pulmonology Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology and Interventional Pulmonology Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license, or eligible for state licensure within 90 to 120 days Active DEA registration, or eligible to obtain one upon licensure Strong clinical competency in advanced airway, pleural, and interventional pulmonary procedures Preferred Qualifications Interest in tailoring practice focus toward specific subspecialty long term goals Experience practicing within a fully integrated
EPIC EHR
