Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist Physician for an engaging 182-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on advanced gastrointestinal procedures including upper GI endoscopies, ERCPs, and PEG insertions, contributing to a comprehensive patient care environment. Responsibilities and Duties Perform Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy Execute Upper GI endoscopy with foreign body removal Conduct Upper GI endoscopy with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) Perform Upper GI endoscopy with injection of varices Conduct ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), both diagnostic and therapeutic Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
