• Local Team Collaboration:
• + Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 3 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan. + Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Qualifications:
• + ABIM or ABFM certified. + Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs. + Authorized to work in the United States. + This position does not sponsor J-1 and H-1 visa waivers.
• Scheduling:
• + 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with flexibility for time off.
• Key Responsibilities:
• + Round on patients with admissions.

+ Help support the hospitalist team's efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.

+ Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.

+ Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.

+ Open ICU with teleintensivists. No procedures but run codes and rapid response.

• Rewards and Compensation:
