Description This contract, on-site position within the Medical Practice industry offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretations as part of our expanding radiology services. As an Associate-level physician, you will play a vital role in interpreting radiological studies, collaborating with referring clinicians, and ensuring accurate and timely reports that directly impact patient care. You will work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals committed to clinical excellence and innovation in tele radiology. Responsibilities Interpret radiological studies including X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Provide accurate and timely preliminary and final diagnostic reports. Communicate urgent or critical findings to referring physicians and clinical teams. Consult with medical staff on diagnostic questions and patient management. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain thorough and organized documentation within the radiology information system (RIS). Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technicians, and other healthcare providers. Stay current with advancements in radiology, telemedicine, and imaging technologies. Adhere to all on-site operational procedures and patient confidentiality guidelines. Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Associate-level experience in radiology, tele radiology, or a related clinical field. Valid medical license in good standing (or ability to obtain one in the relevant jurisdiction). Strong diagnostic interpretation skills across multiple imaging modalities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency with
PACS/RIS
systems and standard medical software. Commitment to high-quality patient care, ethics, and professional integrity. Willingness to work on-site in Bowling Green as required for this contract role. Tele radiology experience is preferred but not required.
