Locums About the Facility This hospital provides inpatient and clinic-based diagnostic radiology services across multiple imaging modalities, including mammography, interventional breast procedures, fluoroscopy, and breast MRI. The facility utilizes Fuji PACS for imaging workflow and is in the process of transitioning to
EPIC EMR.
Coverage is sought to support ongoing diagnostic radiology staffing needs on a Monday through Friday schedule. About the Facility Location Kentucky is home to notable natural landmarks, including Mammoth Cave National Park, which contains over 400 miles of explored passageways and stands as the longest known cave system on the planet. The state also offers a range of cultural and recreational experiences, such as the Kentucky Horse Park, the Kentucky Derby Museum, and a well-established bourbon distillery trail. Outdoor destinations like Red River Gorge complement the broader mix of attractions available across the region. About the Clinician's Workday The diagnostic radiologist will provide 100% on-site diagnostic imaging interpretation and procedures at an inpatient and clinic facility, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum commitment of one week per month. Primary responsibilities include interpreting an expected volume of 80-100 reads per day across mammography, biopsy, stereotactic, ultrasound-guided biopsy, drains, all fluoroscopy exams, and breast MRI modalities. Clinicians will utilize
EPIC EMR
for clinical documentation in accordance with established facility protocols once the transition from Fuji PACS is complete.
