Anesthesiology Job Description:
The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky/Golisano Children's Hospital is growing. We are seeking board certified pediatric anesthesiologists to join our collegial group as we grow to meet the needs of the children of the Commonwealth. Golisano Children's at UK, a children's hospital within a major academic medical center, offers state of the art facilities, including our pediatric sedation and procedure unit, level 4 neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit. Every pediatric surgical subspecialty is represented, and the acuity level of our patients is high. Golisano Children's Hospital is a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center. The Department of Anesthesiology and the Division are well respected within the Medical Center and UK HealthCare has consistently been recognized as the number one hospital in Kentucky by US News and World Report. The Department is financially supported by the enterprise. Salary and benefits are well above average and are commensurate with training and experience. Division faculty have opportunities to be active in resident and fellow education, simulation, research, professional development and career mentoring.
