Local Team Collaboration:
We are seeking nocturnist hosptial medicine physicians to join our close-knit team of 10 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse at St. Joseph London. Work alongside a dedicated team that thrives on collaboration. We offer a supportive environment where teamwork is a cornerstone of our approach. We actively support each other at every turn, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
Board certification or eligibility in family or internal medicine. New graduates are welcome to apply. Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a flexible schedule with both day and night shifts to accommodate personal commitments. Our team fosters a culture of support, where we cover for each other when someone needs time off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage various cases in a 150-bed hospital, focusing on complex cases in a semi-open ICU, benefiting from round-the-clock intensivist coverage. Collaborate closely with nursing staff and engage in key medical staff committees, including the credentialing and medical executive committees, to improve communication and patient care. Engage in weekly group huddles to discuss challenges, share updates, and ensure seamless collaboration across the team. Work within a structured program divided into 2 daytime groups, with support from a dedicated nocturnist for night coverage. Living and Working in
