Interventional Pain Management Opportunity in New Iberia & Lafayette, Louisiana A high-volume Interventional Pain Medicine practice is adding a physician who wants to stay focused on procedures. The practice is fully interventional, with no chronic opioid management, strong operational support, and immediate procedural volume. There is also a clear path to ownership for someone looking to build a long-term practice. Practice Overview You'll join a long-established outpatient interventional pain practice with a primary hub in New Iberia and a companion site nearby ASC-oriented, high-throughput model with dedicated fluoroscopy suites, ultrasound capability, and on-site imaging support Procedures include ESI/transforaminals, RFA, kyphoplasty/vertebral augmentation, MILD, SCS (trial/perm), joint/peripheral nerve injections, and select biologics No inpatient responsibilities and no chronic opioid management panel-your focus stays procedural Schedule Approximately 40 hours/week with flexibility in how clinic and procedural time are structured Typical mix trends heavily procedural (often 4-5 procedure days/week) with limited clinic time as needed Strong existing volume (approximately 60-70 procedures/week) with a growth plan toward significantly higher throughput as you ramp up Call is limited: primary call only a few months per year, with PA back-up call coverage in rotation Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $450,000 with meaningful upside through production (targeting $600,000+ for high producers) Production bonus: 30% of physician net revenue above $750,000 $30,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated repayment if departing within 3 years) 15 business days PTO + 6 paid holidays, $5,000 CME allowance, employer-paid malpractice with tail, and standard health/retirement benefits Candidate Requirements MD/DO with training in Anesthesiology or PM&R and completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship Comfortable as an efficient proceduralist in an ASC-style setting with anesthesia support available for advanced cases Louisiana license (or ability to obtain) and DEA eligibility required Interest in helping expand procedural offerings and participating in operational improvements (including EMR selection/implementation) Community & Location Highlights Live in a bayou community with a lower cost of living and easy access to Lafayette's metro amenities about 30 minutes away Outdoor recreation is close by-fishing, hunting, and weekend getaways across South Louisiana Strong mix of public and private school options in the region, plus a university hub nearby Regional airport access in Lafayette and straightforward drives to Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lake Charles, and Houston Reach out today to learn more about this opportunity and how it aligns with your career goals.
