About the Opportunity Si2 HEALTHCARE is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide full-time medical services at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Oakdale in Oakdale, Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking for a predictable weekday schedule while caring for an adult patient population within a federal healthcare setting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services for the inmate population. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. Perform physical examinations and routine preventative care. Order and interpret diagnostic testing. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation. Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. Respond to urgent medical situations as needed. Minimum Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory. Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain if required). Current CPR/BLS certification. Ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation and credentialing process.
