Locums About the Facility This facility is seeking an ABEM-certified physician for locum tenens emergency department coverage. The department maintains established clinical protocols and staffing support to ensure quality emergency care delivery. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned night shifts. About the Facility Location Massachusetts offers a range of cultural and recreational experiences suited to varied interests. The state is home to notable institutions such as the New England Aquarium, the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, and the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. Clinicians on assignment may also explore landmarks tied to early American history, including Plymouth's Mayflower II and the Plimoth Grist Mill, as well as whale watching in Gloucester and island tours on Martha's Vineyard. About the Clinician's Workday The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide night shift coverage in the emergency department, with shifts available in 8-hour, 9-hour, or 12-hour increments. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. APP support is available during coverage periods. No call responsibilities are associated with this position. Board certification and ABEM certification are required.
