Locums About the Facility This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult patient population within a secure clinical environment in Massachusetts. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, with on-site support staff to assist with daily clinical operations. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary care needs of the patient population served. About the Facility Location While near Boston, Massachusetts, you have the opportunity to see one of the most historic cities in the United States. In between all the tours and famous sites, take a trip to Fenway Park or get some seafood at any of the downtown spots like the Union Oyster House that is one of the oldest restaurants still in operation today in the United States. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients at a correctional facility in Massachusetts, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The expected caseload is 6-8 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary care conditions within a structured correctional environment. On-site support includes 3 medical assistants, nursing staff, a director of nursing, and a care coordinator. Prescriptive authority is required, and any state license will be accepted; credentialing for this position is estimated at 30 days.
