Locum Tenens Overview:
A critical access hospital is seeking a Pediatrician or Family Medicine physician to provide inpatient nursery coverage. This role involves caring for newborns and pediatric patients in a low-volume setting with support from an adult hospitalist team.
Compensation:
$3200/24 hours inclusive of all hours
Schedule:
1 weekend per month Friday 7:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM Shift options: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM 7:00 PM 7:00

Meditech Adult hospitalist available onsite No supervisory responsibilities
Patient Volume:
Average admissions: 0.33 per day Average inpatient census: 1 patient
Responsibilities:
Provide newborn and pediatric care in the nursery Respond to newborn resuscitations when needed Round on patients in the
Mother-Baby Unit Required Procedures:
Non-invasive ventilation management (BiPAP/CPAP) Intubation Newborn resuscitation Newborn care (>2000 grams)
Requirements:
Board Certified in
Pediatrics or Family Medicine Required NRP Certification Required Active Massachusetts License Preferred Credentialing:
