Neonatal Physician Locum Needed in Cumberland Maryland

Requirements:

Board Certified, Active MD License OR Willingness to obtain, ACLS, BLS, PALS.

Schedule:

Urgently need the below dates - please indicate in the presentation if your locum can cover - must have active MD license for these dates:

• October 7 at 12:00 p.m. through October 12 at 12:00 p.m.
• October 27 at 12:00 p.m. through November 1 at 12:00 p.m.
• All shifts: 24hr shift 12p-12p Please see below for additional job details.
• Typically, during a 1-2 week stretch, providers are only called in maybe 1 -2 times. Most after rounding calls are done via phone.

Typical Cases Seen:

Well born and sick babies. Some drug withdrawal newborns. We keep babies 32 weeks and above

• 24-Hour call. Daily rounds start at 9am and end around 2pm, depending on acuity. Level II NICU. Assist with deliveries when t is a known high-risk pregnancy/delivery.
• Rounding volume: as an example, currently we have 6 well babies and 3 special care nursery babies.

On average it is 6-8 babies.
