Anterior Segment Ophthalmologist

Glaucoma or Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Position in Maryland!



Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates in Harve De Grace, MD, is seeking a full-time Comprehensive Cataract Surgeon or Glaucoma Specialist. We have 8 doctors and offices in Aberdeen, Bel Air, Elkton, and Chestertown, Maryland.



We have a need for a Glaucoma Specialist or Cataract Surgeon to join our team of 3 Surgeons and 5 OD. Enjoy stepping into a busy practice from your first day. We have an excellent patient base and payer mix. Help us nurture our mission to deliver high quality and compassionate care. As part of a nationally recognized vertically integrated network, our subspeciality ophthalmic practices have a history of excellent patient care, clinical research, and education. We have the best of academia mixed with the best of private practice.



ResponsibilitiesOur current physicians are highly committed to helping new associates build their practice for long-term success. Over the years, we have developed key practice features to ensure that motivated and team-oriented individuals can count on a long and rewarding career:

  • Attractive geography with wonderful communities, entertainment, leisure, and many of the best public schools in the nation.
  • Easy access to D.C., New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Jersey Shore.
  • Doctor-centric clinical teams (scribes, photographers, and ophthalmic techs).

  • Access to Block Time and ORs equipped with modern systems and skilled staffing.
  • Integrated EHR and PM software (Nextech) across 90 clinics and 7 ASCs.
  • Multiple ongoing Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials across the platform.
  • Effective guidance on referral relationship development and practice building.
  • Collaborative surgical skills review and mentorship by leading surgeons with ability to continue to grow and learn new techniques if needed (e.g. femto, ATIOLs, etc.).
  • Physician-led administrative team, focused on strategic growth and brand marketing, with an eye on securing the future.
