Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a 48-day assignment in Maryland, starting Sep 8, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care as the sole provider, managing a diverse patient population, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans within an 8am-4pm schedule. Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the sole provider, delivering comprehensive primary care services. Perform physical examinations and order appropriate diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans. Treat acute and chronic illnesses. Conduct age-appropriate preventive screenings and Medicare annual wellness visits. Evaluate and coach patients on activity and exercise. Perform dementia assessments and provide care for bone and joint conditions. Engage in advance care planning. Manage heart disease, cholesterol, and blood pressure conditions. Provide care for diabetes, asthma, allergies, and other chronic conditions. Address vision care, dental care, gynecological services, and nutrition counseling needs. Additional Information Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: eClinicalWorks. Comfortable serving as the sole provider.
Schedule:
