Job Description

Physician - Clinical Cardiologist Description MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their practice located in their Augusta and Waterville, Maine locations. Selected candidates will join a growing team of over 70 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.
This position offers:
A growing practice with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough. Nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center, which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network. Provides patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care, working closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services. This integrated practice includes MaineGeneral Health, Maine's third largest health care system. The Alfond Center for Health, MaineGeneral Medical Center's state-of-the art, 192-bed regional hospital, has a diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab and full on site imaging, including echocardiography and nuclear testing. The Augusta/Waterville practice consists of 8 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers and includes a dedicated Heart Failure subspecialist and robust Electrophysiology clinic. Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.
Qualifications:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certification/Board Eligible. At MaineHealth, we recognize the value each team member brings to our organization.
